The San Diego Padres have agreed to a $7 million signing bonus with Cuban outfielder Jorge Ona.
Ona, 19, was recently declared a free agent by Major League Baseball.
MLB.com rated Ona as the No. 8 international prospect.

The deal, worth $4.125 million per season, will keep Smoak with the Jays through the 2018 season, with a club option for the 2019 season for $6 million.
